.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will be moving through the Grassy Point area this
afternoon, bringing light snow and a wind shift. Based on current
radar observations, snow will begin between 1500 and 1515 this
afternoon. This snow will likely be light and fluffy. Snow is
expected to end around the 1730 to 1800 timeframe. Total snow
accumulation this evening through tonight will be around 0.5".

Southwest winds of 8 mph observed at 1415 CST are expected to
remain southwest at similar speeds for the next several hours.
However, after the snow ends by 1800, expect winds to shift to the
west through the evening. West winds are expected overnight,
eventually becoming northwest by early Friday morning. Northwest
winds around 6 to 9 mph are expected tomorrow. Temperatures around
23 degrees this afternoon will decrease to a low of 14 degrees
tonight. High temps tomorrow will be slightly cooler around 20
degrees.
