042 FNUS73 KDLH 281856 FWSDLH Spot Forecast for Camp 8 Rx...Fond du Lac Forestry National Weather Service Duluth MN 156 PM CDT Sat Sep 28 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1326 CDT on September 28. If there are questions or concerns with this forecast, or if conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service in Duluth at 218-729-0653. .DISCUSSION... Sunny and warm conditions continue for today with north winds in the 2 to 7 mph range, including gusts. High temperatures are overperforming a little today, which is also causing RH values to sink lower as well. Saginaw RAWS temperature is up to 81 as of 1 pm, with an RH of 34 percent. Temperatures may rise another couple degrees, with RH values dropping another few percent, so we have dipped the min RH to 27%. However, considering the site, worst case scenario for minimum RH this afternoon is 24%, with a high temperature approaching 85, between 2 and 3 pm. Mixing should be near it`s deepest extent between 2 and 3 pm this afternoon, after which we should see a typical cooling, moisturizing and decrease in mixing height and smoke dispersal. A very weak, dry cold front moves through the area this evening. Clear skies are expected tonight with low temperature around 51 degrees. Winds will be light. Overnight recovery to a max humidity of 83 percent is forecast. Sunny and dry again Sunday, but after the cold front, high temperature cool to around 74 degrees. Winds start light and then turn east at 5 to 8 mph and gusts of 12 to 15 mph with an afternoon humidity dropping to around 40 percent. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-10 percent).
