...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BOX BUTTE...EASTERN
SCOTTS BLUFF...NORTHWESTERN MORRILL...NORTHEASTERN BANNER AND
SOUTHEASTERN SIOUX COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM MDT...

At 621 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Minatare, or near Scottsbluff, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsbluff, Gering, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew,
Lake Minatare State Recreation Area, Lake Alice Number 2, Chimney
Rock National Historic Site, Scottsbluff Airport, Lake Alice, Moomaw
Corner, and South Bayard Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
