.DISCUSSION...

Similar conditions are expected during the day Thursday compared to
Wednesday. A stagnant upper-level pattern across the United States will
continue the northwest flow regime over the area. Expect another day
of fairly light winds at the surface, with north to northwest winds
likely above the surface. Cannot rule out a few wind shifts throughout
the day. High temperatures will be around 40 degrees with minimum relative
humidity around 40 percent due to snow cover. Expect much of the same
conditions on Friday, from high temperature, minimum relative humidity
and wind. Light and variable winds are likely at the surface with west to
northwest winds aloft. Similar conditions are also forecast for Saturday.

A bit of pattern change is expected Sunday as a shortwave skirts the
forecast area. Snow will be possible Sunday night, with much colder
temperatures expected for the beginning of next week. Stronger winds will
also be possible ahead of and behind the cold front.
