102 FNUS55 KCYS 082149 FWFCYS Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY 349 PM MDT Tue Jul 8 2025 RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT WEDNESDAY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 420, 421, 422, 423, 425, AND 427. .DISCUSSION...Critical fire weather conditions are noted across our western zones this afternoon mainly affecting Carbon County. Based on coordination from officials in the region indicating fuels are near to at critical status and at least receptive alongside RH values into the single digits with poor overnight recoveries, have issued a red flag warning from this afternoon through tomorrow evening. We should see moisture return Thursday and Friday and help to alleviate some of this, but by the weekend critical conditions could return again.
