.DISCUSSION...
An upper level ridge moves over the Intermountain West this week. This ridge will likely prevent any chance of a
wetting rain as the ridge is likely to subdue most convection and filter in some drier air to the surface. Min RH values
look to be in the near critical as they are forecast to range between 15 and 20 percent in the afternoon. Winds
will remain a little breezy but light throughout the week. The exception will be Tuesday and Wednesday as a 700mb
jet develops to assist in elevated windy conditions mostly confined to the wind prone areas.
