.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low into the week ahead as a moist
Pacific jet stream remains stuck overhead. RH is expected to remain
well above critical for the next week or so, but strong to high
winds will be a daily concern. Sunday will be breezy to windy
with marginal high winds confined to the wind prone areas. Scattered
snow showers will continue through midday. After a short break this
afternoon, look for winds to pick up again tonight and spread breezy
conditions cross the area Monday. We are still watching the potential
for widespread high winds Monday night into Wednesday. There is potential
for gusts exceeding 60 mph for much of the area, and gusts exceeding 75
mph in the wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming.
