...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ALONG THE INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR
IN SOUTHEAST WYOMING THIS MORNING THROUGH LATER THIS AFTERNOON...
.DISCUSSION...Low fire weather concerns for most of the area as
humidities will trend higher today compared to yesterday and winds
will decrease through the afternoon. The only exception will be
along and near the Interstate 25 corridor across southeast Wyoming,
which will see winds gusting over 30 mph and daytime relative
humidities around 10 to 15 percent. Elevated to near critical
conditions are expected across Converse County southward to Wheatland
and Cheyenne. Otherwise, winds will continue to decrease this weekend
with slightly higher relative humidities. Much colder temperatures
and a good chance for snow expected early next week.
