...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CLEARFIELD AND
NORTHWESTERN CENTRE COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 PM EDT...
At 1208 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Clearfield, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Karthaus, Snow Shoe, Clarence, Moshannon, Pine Glen, Lecontes Mills,
Grassflat, and Kylertown.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
