Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
426 PM EDT Tue Jul 8 2025

A slow-moving cold front is continuing to track southeast across
Pennsylvania this afternoon into this evening, bringing showers
and thunderstorms across the eastern half of Pennsylvania.
Thunderstorms across the eastern third of the Commonwealth could
produce damaging winds with locally heavy rainfall bringing some
potential for flash flooding.

Low temperatures overnight across the upper 50s to the lower 70s
with patchy fog expected across the higher elevations of
Pennsylvania. Some of this fog could reduce visibilities where
moisture is highest.

Dry conditions are expected for the morning hours on Wednesday
for much of the Commonwealth before showers and thunderstorms
become more numerous during the afternoon and evening hours. The
unsettled pattern will continue through the weekend, with daily
chances of showers and thunderstorms.
