Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
519 AM EDT Fri Mar 28 2025

A warm front will bring increasing clouds, milder temperatures,
and scattered light rain showers today. High temperatures this
afternoon will range from near 50 in the north central to the mid
60s in the west and the southeast. The warm front will stall north
of the New York border through the weekend, keeping above normal
temperatures in place through Monday.

Partly to mostly sunny skies on Saturday will be accompanied by west-
southwest winds that could gust as high as 40 mph late Saturday
morning and Saturday afternoon. A few showers and a rumble or two
of thunder are possible in northern PA on Saturday afternoon and
evening.

Stronger and perhaps more widespread storms are possible Sunday
night in western PA and in southeast PA on Monday afternoon as a
sharp cold front moves through the area. This will bring an end to
the warm spell with cooler air moving in for April Fool`s Day.
