Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
446 AM EDT Sun Jul 6 2025

Abundant sunshine and warmer conditions for today, with
temperatures peaking between 85 and 90 degrees this afternoon.
After a partly cloudy and somewhat muggy conditions in the central
and Southeastern Valleys, the heat and humidity will build
further as we head into the new week.

Heat index values could approach 100 degrees Monday afternoon
over parts of the Lower Susquehanna, Lehigh, and Delaware Valleys.

Some thunderstorms could produce heavy downpours on Monday across
the northwestern third of the state and over the Southeast third
to half of the state on Tuesday as a slow moving cold front pushes
through the Keystone State.

As the frontal boundary stalls out across Southern PA or Northern
VA Tuesday night into Wednesday, look for unsettled weather to
continue into latter part of the upcoming week with seasonably
warm temperatures for early July.
