Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
507 PM EDT Sat Oct 11 2025

A weak low moving down from the Great Lakes and a storm in the
Carolinas will converge on the Commonwealth tonight. Showers will
flare up over the central and northern mountains tonight,
drifting westward through sunrise. The western and eastern thirds
of the state will be dry for much of the night. Rainfall is not
expected to be heavy, but some locations could pick up more than a
half of an inch overnight. Lows will be in the 40s in the
northwest and 55 to 60 degrees in the cities of the southeast.

The storm to the south will creep slowly northward along the
Atlantic coast on Sunday and Monday, resulting in periods of rain.
Little if any rain will reach Pittsburgh or Erie. Rainfall
amounts do not look to be heavy enough at any point to cause
flooding. Highs on Sunday and Monday should be within 5 degrees of
seasonal normals.
