Outside of a few light showers downwind of Lake Erie this morning,
dry conditions are expected. An increasing wind from the north
will direct much drier air into the Keystone state today,
promoting a decrease in cloud cover and bringing more sunshine to
the Commonwealth by this afternoon.

A couple of seasonably cold nights ahead with frost and freeze
conditions expected to start tonight across western Pennsylvania.
Frost and near-to-sub freezing conditions will be more widespread
Thursday night as temperatures reach the lowest point for the
week around sunrise early Friday morning.

Temperatures will trend warmer into the weekend, with high
temperatures reaching into the 60s and 70s on Saturday and Sunday.

Periods of rain are expected between Sunday into early next week.
