Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1007 AM EDT Mon Aug 4 2025

High pressure will keep mainly dry weather across the Keystone
state this week. The sky will be hazy at times, but plenty of
sunshine will prevail. While a shower or storm will be possible
later Wednesday into the weekend, most of the time it will be
dry. Humidity levels will creep up some, but are not expected to
be all that high before later next weekend.

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires will filter into the the far
northern tier of The Keystone state today, with an elevated
concentration of fine particle pollution. A Code Orange Air
Quality Alert has been issued by the Pennsylvania Department of
Environmental Protection for the northern tier counties, where
air pollution may become unhealthy for sensitive groups.

High temperatures for much of the week will range from the upper
70s to mid 80s. Lows will range from the mid to upper 50s across
the northwest mountains, to the lower to mid 60s across the
southeast.
