.DISCUSSION...

Northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph will shift around to Northwest
overnight and become quite gusty on Tuesday.

Wind chills late today will be in the upper single digits and
will dip to between zero and 5 above tonight with overnight
lows between 12 and 15 degrees F.

Wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will be common on Tuesday which will
cause some blowing and drifting of the snow on the ground and
keep wind chills mainly in the single digits.

Flurries and scattered snow showers with areas of light
accumulation will continue the Northwest Mountains Tuesday
through Thursday.

Northwest winds will stay gusty Tuesday night through Thursday.

Otherwise, surface low pressure exiting to the Northeast off
the Delmarva Coast late today and an upper level disturbance
approaching from the Ohio River will mean periods of snow
continuing into the early to mid evening hours across the
Southern Half of Pennsylvania, while lingering clouds and
just some flurries occur across the northwest Mountains of
Pennsylvania.
