.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions are expected to prevail for much of the
Commonwealth through this afternoon, outside of southwestern
Pennsylvania where scattered showers could begin during the late
morning hours.

An extensive north/south plume of deep tropical moisture and
rain of varying intensity will lift north across the entire
Commonwealth by late tonight.

Prior to the rain, minimum RHs for today are expected to range
between 30-40% across the northern half of Central Pennsylvania
and 40-50% across the southern half.

Southerly winds will increase slightly, ranging between 5-10 kts.

An unsettled pattern will persist from by Tuesday morning
through the end of the week.

Showers are expected for the mid to late week period, with
afternoon thunderstorms possible. Some thunderstorms could produce
heavy rainfall Tuesday afternoon and into the evening hours.
