.DISCUSSION...
Today will turn out to be a near carbon copy of Saturday in many
respects, though it should be a few degrees warmer in most places.
Look for abundant sunshine and a bit more of a breeze than
Saturday, particularly across the northern tier where wind gusts
from the Southwest in the teens (mph) are likely during the late
morning and afternoon. MinRH values will range from 40 to 50
percent.
A cold front will approach northwestern PA Monday afternoon and
evening with an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms, while
the moisture from greatly weakened Tropical Storm Chantal moves into
Southeastern PA creating a second notable area of showers and
thunderstorms.
The cold front will slow its eastward movement across the state
Monday night and Tuesday leading to showers and afternoon
Thunderstorms becoming focused primarily over the southeastern half
of Pennsylvania.
