Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
515 AM EDT Sat Jul 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds will usher in increasing moisture today with
increasing clouds and the potential for a few showers and
thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon across the Laurel
Highlands and Central Ridge and Valley region of the state.
Rainfall amounts will generally be less than a tenth of an inch,
but a few spots could see accumulation up to half an inch.

Minimum RH values will dip into the 35-50% range again on Sunday
as high pressure builds back in. Rain and increasing relative
humidity returns on Monday to kick off a week that will feature
daily chances for showers and thunderstorms.
