*An extensive, but generally non-precipitating stratus cloud layer
will blanket the region through early Saturday. Patchy freezing
drizzle is possible on the ridge tops above 2000 feet MSL late
today and tonight.
*Mostly cloudy with snow likely over the western Alleghenies this
weekend, with a few inches possible Sunday into early Sunday night.
*Reinforcing cold weather and clipper systems will provide
additional opportunities for snow next week.
