Relative humidity values are expected to struggle to drop below
30% and winds are expected to remain less than 20 mph. Southern
Webb County is the only area that may very briefly dip below 30%
RH during the week. Winds are expected to remain relatively light
during this brief dip thus potentially negating this. We`ll have
to continue to closely monitor the Energy Release Component (ERC)
values which happen to be in the 70-90th percentiles. As rain
chances increase during the latter portions of the week, relative
humidity values climb above 30% across the region. Which will
further negate any elevated fire weather conditions. PoP chances
will increase beginning tomorrow (Tuesday) around (40-60%) and
will persist through the remainder of the week. Otherwise,
elevated fire weather conditions are not expected at this time.
