Brief elevated fire weather conditions may develop across the
southern Rio Grande Plains during the afternoon to early evening
hours through the forecast due to relative humidity dropping
below 30% and above normal Energy Release Component (ERC) values.
However, winds are expected to remain below thresholds. Elevated
rain chances of 20-40% today and Monday over the Coastal Plains
will decrease to a 10-30% through the rest of the week, primarily
driven by daytime heating and the seabreeze.
