...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
  between 4 and 8 inches.

* WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities will fluctuate and may drop below 1/4 mile
  in the heavier snow bands. Travel could be difficult. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and
  Thursday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold conditions will continue with wind chill
  values in the single digits.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland County.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel
  likely. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
  evening and Thursday morning commutes. Visibilities will fluctuate
  and occasionally drop below 1/2 mile in the heavier snow bands.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest accumulations are expected in the
  eastern part of the county. Cold conditions will continue with
  wind chill values in the single digits.
