...ELEVATED RISK OF WILDFIRE SPREAD THIS AFTERNOON...

WHAT...The combination of warm temperatures, low daytime relative
humidity values, south wind gusts of 15 to 25 MPH and recent dry
weather conditions across the area will lead to elevated wildfire
spread risk this afternoon.

WHERE...Portions of northeast Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania.

WHEN...Late this morning through early this evening.

IMPACTS...Any fires that start may spread rapidly and become
difficult to control, especially in areas of brush, dropped
leaves, and unharvested fields.

PRECAUTIONARY ACTIONS...Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged
today. Take extra care to prevent the start of accidental fires
when smoking or operating vehicles around dropped leaves and
dormant vegetation or crops. If you observe a fire in a field,
grassy area, or wooded area, call 9 1 1.
