...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THURSDAY...
...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels.
  For the Gale Warning, west winds 30 to 40 knots with gusts up
  to 50 knots and waves 3 to 6 feet expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
  The Islands OH, and the open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee
  Bay to The Islands OH.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 4 PM EST Thursday. For the
  Low Water Advisory, until 7 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
  water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Low Water Advisory, as of 930 PM
  EST, the water level at Toledo was 1 inch below the low water
  datum or approximately 3 below the critical mark for safe marine
  navigation, which is 2 inches above low water datum. Westerly
  gales will develop tonight which will result in water levels
  falling to as low as 24 to 30 inches below low water datum late
  tonight through Thursday afternoon. Water levels will slowly
  begin to recover as winds shift to the northwest by late
  Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
