...FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The combination of critically dry fuels, relative humidity values
as low as 15 to 22 percent and ongoing drought conditions will
result in an enhanced fire danger across much of Southeast South
Carolina and Southeast Georgia away from the immediate coast
through early evening. This includes the Francis Marion National
Forest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do, you are advised to use extreme caution.
