The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach out 40 NM...

* Until 915 AM EDT.

* At 710 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 10 NM south of Jimmy Leland Tug, moving
  north at 55 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Y-73 Reef, Jimmy Leland Tug, Edisto Buoy, Capers Mid Shelf, Hector
  Reef, Cape Romain Reef, Comanche Reef, Doug Mellichamp Reef, Bull
  Breakers and Bulls Bay.
