...THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL SOUTHWEST
OF THE EDISTO BUOY...

The areas affected include...
Waters from South Santee River SC to Edisto Beach SC extending from
20 to 40 NM...

* At 928 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong
  thunderstorms were located along a line from near Y-73 Reef to 18
  NM south of Doug Mellichamp Reef, moving east at 10 knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Y-73 Reef, Capers Mid Shelf, Comanche Reef, Doug Mellichamp Reef
  and Edisto Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office.
