The areas affected include... Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 40 NM... Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary... Surface observations and webcams along the Georgia coast show patchy sea fog has developed this morning. This is due to warm and increasingly humid air moving north over the chilly Atlantic waters. The sea fog could spread as far north as Hilton Head, Hunting Island and Edisto Beach, SC, out to 10 NM over the next few hours. Visibilities in the fog could drop to 1 NM or less at times, although should remain fairly localized. The risk for fog will end by early afternoon as a cold front pushes offshore. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care in sea fog. If you must navigate in these conditions, proceed with extreme caution. Use proper fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational running lights are on. && LAT...LON 3131 8142 3132 8127 3136 8134 3147 8120 3203 8085 3206 8092 3232 8045 3252 8051 3250 8036 3251 8036 3253 8038 3229 7990 3188 8054 3156 8082 3124 8094 3129 8141 $$ ST
