.DISCUSSION...
Gusty winds and rain bands associated with tropical storm Chantal will
gradually increase across the Jamestown area this afternoon. Wind gusts
should peak during the mid to late afternoon hours, near 30 mph.
At 1230 PM, the Santee River near Jamestown was 2.11 ft. Water levels
may rise by 0.5 to 1 ft with high tide late this afternoon, likely
increasing water currents.
