.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure off the Atlantic Coast will remain dominant
across the region today. This system will lead to increased
southeast winds across the fire location today with a touch of
gustiness possible later this morning and through the afternoon.

Tonight through Wednesday: A strong cold front will approach the
southeast states later tonight and pass through the region during
the 11 am to 2 pm timeframe Wednesday. A narrow corridor of
showers and possibly a few strong to severe thunderstorms will
accompany the front.

Meanwhile, southerly winds ahead of the front will remain
elevated tonight and become gusty Wednesday morning into early
afternoon with gusts up to 40 mph possible at the fire location.
Winds veer a bit more southwesterly behind the front Wednesday
afternoon but will remain on the gusty side until early evening.

Fog potential for tonight: Low
