...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL AROOSTOOK COUNTY
THROUGH 100 PM EDT...

At 1210 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms over
Ashland, or 10 miles southeast of Portage, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Mapleton, Washburn,
Ashland, Woodland, Masardis, Loring, Nashville Plantation, Scopan,
Chapman, Castle Hill, Caswell, Wade, Scopan Mountain, and Garfield.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 1 between Presque Isle and Caribou.
 State Highway 11 near Ashland.
