...Blowing And Drifting Snow Through The Afternoon...

West to northwest winds will gust to 30 to 40 mph through the
afternoon. These winds will support areas of blowing and drifting
snow through the afternoon. Visibilities could occasionally be
reduced below a half mile and change rapidly over short distances.
Roads could be slippery, with drifts across some roads. Roads with
open exposure to the winds will be most prone to blowing and
drifting. If traveling this afternoon slow down and maintain a
safe distance between other vehicles. Be alert for visibilities
which could change rapidly over short distances and snow drifted
across the road.
