...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WASHINGTON
AND CENTRAL HANCOCK COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms from around Ellsworth east-northeast to just north of
Machias, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch diameter hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Bucksport, Machias, Lubec, Cherryfield,
Dedham, Jonesport, Steuben, Harrington, Jonesboro, Columbia Falls,
Cutler, Columbia, Deblois, Centerville, Millbridge, Penobscot
Township, Hancock, and Franklin.

This includes US Highway 1 between Ellsworth and Whiting.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southeastern Maine.
