.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions can be expected through Tuesday. An
afternoon seabreeze will turn winds more southerly along the
Downeast coast potentially extending as far north as Route 9 in
interior Downeast. Mainly dry conditions are expected through
Tuesday with light winds generally less than 10 mph. Not as hot
but upper 80s to low 90s expected Wednesday. South winds across
the area may gust 10-15mph at times in the afternoon. An
increased lightning risk is expected across mostly northern and
northwest areas Wednesday afternoon into the evening. A continued
lightning risk into Thursday with scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Overall, no widespread wetting rains expected
given generally isolated to scattered activity.
