High pressure will remain across the area tonight through Friday,
then slides offshore Friday night as Hurricane Erin passes well
south and then east of the Gulf of Maine. A warm front will lift
north of the area Saturday. A cold front then slowly approaches
from the west through Sunday night, then begins to cross Maine on
Monday.
