...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO
8 PM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT....Nearshore waves 4 to 8 feet, with a wave period of 10
  to 12 seconds. High rip current risk.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents and sneaker waves will lead to
  dangerous beach conditions. Waves crashing against rocks can
  splash violently upward and wash onlookers out to sea. Some
  minor beach erosion is possible..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory Means That High Surf Will Affect Beaches In
The Advisory area...producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion. If you plan to be along the shoreline, keep your distance
from the water, and never turn your back on the ocean.
