* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Lancaster County in central South Carolina...
  Northwestern Chesterfield County in central South Carolina...

* Until 845 AM EST.

* At 757 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Lawn, or
  near Lancaster, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Locations impacted include...
  USC Lancaster, Arrowood Estates, Bell Town Fire Station, Irwin,
  Kershaw, Community of Almond Glen, Faith Christian School, Heath
  Springs, Carolina Commons Shopping Center, Elgin, Bear Creek Park,
  McDonald Green Elementary School, Indian Land, Andrew Jackson State
  Park, Van Wyck, Tradesville, Lancaster, Camp Creek Fire Station,
  Antioch, and Kirk Air Base.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EST for central South
Carolina.
