.DISCUSSION...
A dry and cold air mass will spread into the area tonight through
Thursday. Minimum RH values Thursday afternoon will be around 25
percent. Moisture will increase late Thursday night into Friday
as a low pressure system approaches from the Deep South/Gulf coast.
Widespread precipitation will overspread the region Friday afternoon
through Friday night. Wintry precipitation is expected with freezing
rain and sleet the main threats, especially across the SC Piedmont and
northern Midlands. The precipitation will move east of the area by
Saturday morning as the low pressure system deepens off the NC/VA coast.
A cool and dry pattern returns for the remainder of the weekend into
early next week. Winds may be a little breezy again on Saturday from the west.

Fog Potential: None
