and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC

.DISCUSSION...
The remains of Helene along with the upper level trough will be
north of the area today while sliding slowly eastward. This will
result in a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm possible
this afternoon and evening mainly across the northern Midlands and
Pee Dee. On Tuesday the remains will slide to the Delmarva area
then offshore with a weak cold front moving the the Carolinas
during the middle of the week. High pressure along with dry
conditions are currently expected to be over the region Thursday
into the weekend.

Fog Potential Tonight: Patchy fog is possible tonight.
