and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
347 AM EDT Sun Apr 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will slowly move across the Deep South today and
tonight. Expect breezy SW winds after a jet mixes down around 9
am this morning with gusts around 25 mph through the afternoon.
Rain will likely hold off until this evening, but rain chances
will be highest after midnight tonight into Monday morning. Rain
will taper off through the day on Monday as the front slowly
shifts east. Rain may be heavy at times with thunderstorms also
possible. Cool, dry weather will be in store for Tuesday through
Thursday. The next chance of rain will be late this week and next
weekend.
