Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
301 PM EDT Fri May 16 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions are expected through early next week.
Relative humidity will be high enough to preclude critical fire
weather conditions. Isolated or widely scattered showers or
thunderstorms may develop early Saturday morning through Saturday
afternoon, ahead of an area of cool air left behind by overnight
thunderstorms NW of the region. Confidence remains low as to the
extent of any thunderstorms. A few showers or storms may redevelop
Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Fog Potential through Tonight: Low
