Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
247 PM EDT Thu Mar 27 2025

.DISCUSSION...
The South Carolina Forestry Commission`s burn ban remains in
effect until further notice for all SC counties. This prohibits
all outdoor burning, including yard debris burning, prescribed
burning, campfires, bonfires and other recreational fires in all
unincorporated areas of the state.

High pressure will begin to shift offshore tomorrow with some
moisture return, although RH especially in the western portion
will still approach critical values of 25 percent. Increasing
moisture ahead of a disturbance Saturday with chances for rain
and thunderstorms Sunday. Additional chances for showers and
storms Monday with some storms producing strong winds.

Fog Potential through Tonight: Fog unlikely
