Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
117 PM EDT Wed Oct 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A cooler and breezier day is expected for Thursday behind a dry
cold front. Northerly winds shift more to the northeast at 5-10mph
with gusts of 10-15mph possible. Friday looks to be the coolest
day of the next seven and the day when Min RH values may approach
critical values. Expect temperature and moisture recovery this
weekend with the next chance of rain coming from the passage of
another cold front late Sunday into Sunday night. A return to
cooler and dry weather is then expected to start off next week.

Fog potential tonight: Low
