Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
116 AM EDT Wed Oct 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Yet another dry day on tap ahead of a cold front that is
expected to push through tonight into Thursday. The front
will push through the region without any rain. Behind the
front, cooler temperatures and a reinforcing push of dry
air will move in as winds shift to the northeast. Friday
looks to be the coolest day of the next seven and the day
when Min RH values may approach critical values. Expect
temperature and moisture recovery this weekend with the
next chance of rain on Sunday. A return to dry weather
then expected to start off next week.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy and mainly near bodies of
water.
