Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
122 PM EDT Fri Apr 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure to our east will continue to keep southerly
and southeasterly winds common, slowly increasing moisture by
early next week. Despite this, afternoon RH values are still
expected to be in the 30%-40% range for most areas. This is due to
above normal temperatures in the mid and upper 80s expected
through early next week. The warm and dry weather is expected to
continue through Monday, with chances for afternoon showers and
storms arriving again on Tuesday.

Fog Potential through Tonight: Fog-low stratus along rivers/lakes
possible.
