Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
155 PM EDT Mon Aug 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Some shower activity is expected to continue tonight and into
Tuesday morning where some low clouds could be possible also. A
more typical August period is then expected for the remainder of
the week with temperatures that increase closer to normal by Wednesday
and rain chances that become more seasonal as well. Shower/storms may
be a bit more numerous Tuesday afternoon and evening with some of this
activity expected to continue into the overnight hours. Daily minimum
RH values will continue to be high with plentiful low level moisture and
winds should remain fairly light the rest of the week.

Fog potential tonight: Low fog potential but some low clouds will
be possible.
