Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
237 AM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Offshore high pressure will keep southerly and southeasterly
winds common into early next week with occasional afternoon breeziness.
This will also help keep dewpoints in the 50s and 60s, yielding relative
humidities in the 30%-40% range for most areas during the day. Expect
very good to excellent overnight recoveries. Warm temperatures and dry
conditions are expected through Monday, with chances for afternoon showers
and thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday. There will also be low chances
for morning fog or stratus in the mornings due to lingering moisture.

Fog Potential through Tonight: Fog-low stratus along rivers/lakes
possible.
