...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations up to 1 to 2
  feet possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by
  heavy accumulating snow. Snow removal operations on the Beartooth
  Highway may be impacted.

THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16
  inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
  Northeast Bighorn Mountains.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by
  heavy accumulating snow. Travel could be very difficult to
  impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday
  evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such
items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets
and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything
else that would help you survive in case you become stranded.
