...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CUSTER COUNTY
UNTIL 945 PM MDT...

At 904 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 27
miles southwest of Miles City, or 26 miles northeast of Colstrip,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Twelve Mile Dam, Garland and Moon Creek Ranch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
