.DISCUSSION...

Increasing clouds this afternoon with scattered showers and
thunderstorms developing as early as 2pm. RH values will hold in
the mid 30s today with temperatures in the upper 80s and fairly
light (5 to 10 mph) southwest winds, turning northeast this
afternoon between 11am and 2pm. Erratic wind gusts up to 45 mph
can be expected near thunderstorms today. Chance of thunderstorms
continues through about 10pm, with a chance for showers lingering
into the overnight hours. Winds remain northeasterly in the 5 to
10 mph range tonight. There is a chance that ridgetop winds get a
bit gusty (18-24mph) late tonight through sunrise Saturday. Expect
strong RH recoveries tonight. Chambers
